Jean-Louis discovered the world of computers at the early age of eight. After toying with computers and programming, he decided to take on a four-year university degree in Computer Science at the Institut Universitaire de Technologie 2 and Ecole Supérieure de l'Industrie et du Commerce (ESICOM) in France. He returned to France in 2000 and began working on defense projects, coding in ADA, C, and C++.
With over ten years of programming experience, Jean-Louis is ready for more challenging and exciting projects. His many ideas and his addiction to coding have led him to develop various software projects under BeOS and QNX. For several years, he developed programs for the QNX RTOS. All his tools were intended to make learning and programming easier for others. His solid background in software engineering landed him a permanent position in Burnaby, BC where he is currently engaged in very satisfying and exciting work in camera vision. Over the past several years, Jean-Louis has produced programs in C/C++, and Java for various platforms and hardware in the digital camera industry.
