Nice

The French Riveria is the warmest part of France. Nice as seen by the Mediterranean Sea is beautiful but when you go inland, the streets are very dirty. Yes, it has lost a lot of its charm to too many tourists and too many people. It's insane to drive in this city so don't even think about it ! The Promenade des Anglais is always breathtaking, especially when you walk it at night :) The daily farmer's market is one of my personal favorites. Try the pizza down there; very much like Italian pizza since Nice is only an hour drive away from Italy. Watch out: lots of Italian tourists in the city !

The old city is located close to the coast. The buildings there are a lot like buildings in Italy, that is narrow and bright in color. Mediterranean colors which can be seen anywhere along the Riveria are a combination of yellow, orange and red.
